April Antics

So, here we are - a new world of blogging has opened up to me as I now have a wonderful new computer that allows me to post pictures and blog posts much faster and more convenient now.  I love to keep all of my family up to date with what we are up to, so with this new found convenience will hopefully bring more frequent pictures and updates!!

The pace of life has been at an all time high lately with our kids energy and excitement levels at home!
Especially with this never ending winter weather that is keeping us indoors still!
But, we have fortunately had some wonderful moments to savour . . .
Easter was one of them . . .
This was our annual Easter picture that I take with the kids each year before we leave for church on Easter Sunday.

It is always a challenge on Sunday mornings to take a photo, but it is such a great opportunity as they are dressed so perfectly with hair done (most of the time) . . .  not a moment that happens to often.

Looking back one year ago on Easter morning . . .

And two years ago . . .

Time is flying so fast as I look at those photos and making me savour the time I have with my dear Sophia . . .

Aubrey is really enjoying being a big sister lately and loves to play with her!
This picture was taken the other night after Aubrey and I went on a fun girls date and bought her a new bike helmet, a new sleeper, and an ice cream cone (she was in heaven!)
This one on one time was definitely needed and she just thrives when special attention is given to her!

Here she is sporting her new Lightning McQueen bike helmet and matching knee pads (complete with her awesome pose). Lightning McQueen was chosen over all the girlie helmets to choose from.
This is by far her favourite character right now!

And as for our little man, Hayden - he turned the big 5 years old this month and is loving the fact that he is one year older! He's proud of his accomplishments these days and is thriving with every challenge he's learning - if only kindergarten could come any sooner??
